With 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, Tom has held executive positions at Memorex-Telex, E-Systems, Raytheon, and Edward Jones. His formal training includes degrees in speech communication (BA and MA) and clinical internship in speech pathology and audiology. While starting off as a high school speech teacher, Tom has spent the body of his career coaching sales and marketing teams in the high tech, finance, insurance, and nonprofit sectors.

Combining his professional background with his flair for self-expression, Tom anchored a Silicon Valley corporate television network and spent four years as producer and host of The Epicurean Adventure, an award-winning food and wine radio show. Additionally, he is a national spokesperson for conservation issues, winning the John Muir Conservationist of the Year Award in 2013. 

Tom lives in Sonoma, California. Never one to sit idly, he spends his discretionary time enjoying outdoor sports, running the nonprofit Sonoma Nature, and working with chefs at a wine country culinary school.
